College Discipline
- Creating noise in the college campus, spitting on the walls, doors, pillars & floors of the college and smoking within the premises are strictly prohibited.
- Students must not loiter on the corridors or verandahs when they have no classes to attend.
- Indulgence in political activities or participation in political meetings is forbidden.
- Misbehaviour at the playground will be seriously dealt with.
- Copying or using other unfair means in examinations is a serious offence; severe action will be taken.
- Plagiarism is a serious crime.
- College fees are received only on the scheduled days; on other days fees are accepted during office hours with the prescribed fine.
- Students of the college are forbidden:
- to belong to any outside athletics club or society not approved by the Government;
- to play for any team other than the college team without the Principal’s permission;
- to accompany a team playing away from Tarbha without prior permission of the Principal.
- Students should take their seats before the teacher enters the classroom and should not leave during the lecture.
- No club, society or function shall be started or held on campus without the Principal’s approval.
- Students must be courteous when meeting the Principal or staff and should not enter offices or the staff room without permission.
- Applications for College Leaving Certificate or mark-sheet must be submitted three clear days in advance.
- Students are required to:
- attend all extra-mural classes and cultural meetings;
- diligently pursue their studies and safeguard college property.
Examination Rules
- The academic session spans from June to May.
- Undertaking : Every admitted student must sign an undertaking to abide by college rules.
- Address : Each student must register a current address with the office and report any change immediately.
- All applications are to be deposited in the designated box; the Principal will not receive applications directly without special cause.
- Attendance requirements per academic year:
- 75 % of General Lectures
- 75 % of Tutorial / Practical classes
- Students must quote their Registration Number on every examination form.
- Tutorial Group : Each student is assigned a tutorial group. Neglect of tutorial lessons may result in being marked absent or barred from the final examination at the Principal’s discretion.
